Dirty Events Multisport Racing
About Dirty Events...
Dirty Events has been organizing off road events at Schiff Scout Camp since 1994. Over the years, we have built a network of awesome mountain bike trails, with two log climbs, and a challenging run course. These trails are manicured before every event ensuring the safety of every athlete.
Our top priority is safety and fun for the athlete competing in our events. We take an enormous amount of time marking the trails and preparing them so that on race day no one will go off course or get injured. >
The swim and kayak courses are clearly defined and marked with large bouys. We also have lifeguards in the water on surfboards and in kayaks / canoes ensuring the safety of each participant in the water. We also have several volunteers along the mountain bike and running trails equipped with first aid kits and they are in constant contact with the race director by walkie talkie.
There are 5 water stops for the triathon, 2 for the adventure race and 1 for each duathlon.
The spring and fall duathlons and the triathlon are all USAT sanctioned races.
The Adventure Race is a USARA sanctioned race.
On a personal note, I have raced for over 20 years everything from Ironman, Nationals, MArathons, Mountain Bike Races, XTERRA Races, Adventure Races and every local race in the tri-state area. My past experiences with racing has influenced me organize and host these awesome races.
I am very passionate about organizing and running these events. My goal is to
make sure that every athlete, from the winners to the the last finisher, have a
good, safe and fun race. Every Dirty Events race finishes off with free food,
music, massage and raffles. I hope to see you all on race day.
